Hold the Python® in your hand and you'll know why this is a favorite among new and experienced welders. The ergonomic handle design, fingertip controls and foolproof set-up make the Python the most advanced gooseneck gun on the market. The Python family offers several options, starting with the standard air-cooled Python rated 200 ampls at 100% duty cycle. The replaceable gooseneck of the Python can be interchanged with the full water-cooled barrel and gas cup combination to achieve a rating of 100 amps, 100% duty cycle. The standard Python gun has a separate wire conduit, power and gas connections. The new Python®-Plus air-cooled models feature a Magnum® backend that integrates power, gas, and wire conduit into a single easy connection for direct plug into a Power MIG® 300, Power MIG® 350MP or Power Feed™ 10M.

Superior push-pull wire feeding technology virtually eliminates friction in the wire feed path, resulting in smooth feeding and minimizing damage to the wore.
Patented EZ-Lock system allows you to change or rotate barrels anytime.
Lightweight, ergonomic handle - weight distribution is equally balanced between front and back for better feel and control.
Sturdy bottom mounted trigger can be operated with either hand.
Fine adjustment of wire feed speed is easily accomplished using the multi-turn adjustment dial, which is conveniently located on the bottom of the handle.
Flip-up drive roll cover located at the thumb rest for easy access to wire. Quick wire release for easy wire adjustments.
Complete with a knurled drive rool and a grooved idler rool, which will handle both seel and aluminum wire from .030 - 1/16" diameter.
Interchangeable contact tips, drive and idler rolls, and conduits between Prince® XL, CobraMAX™, and Python® - no need to stock multiple consumables.
