The power supply, designed and built by Hypertherm in Hanover, New Hampshire, uses no fuses, contactors or mechanical relays and the torch leads are hard wired to it. With all those features, reliability is a given. All of that power is packed in a package that is 46% smaller and 63% lighter than its predecessor so the comfort molded carry handle, fold-out cable wrap hooks and attachable “bandolier” for consumables storage make this a truly portable system. The enhanced pilot arc control provides improved performance on expanded metals and gratings which allows superior consumable life. The patent-pending technology behind the new T30v torch is awesome.
