de-fend Water Preservative de-fend Water Preservative is an easy-to-mix liquid formulated to inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria in self-contained eye wash stations. Each sealed 8 oz. bottle, graduated for precise mixing, will preserve 14-16 gallons for up to 120 days when mixed as directed. Bottle is calibrated for use in smaller or larger self-contained eye wash stations.
