There are four easy ways to access Material Safety Data Sheets from the website. You can search the MSDS library, link to MSDS from the product detail page, view the My MSDS menu, or search for MSDS in the Search by Components menu. Let’s review each of these features.

On the public and signed in versions of Airgas.com, you can click on the MSDS Library to access a list of Material Safety Data Sheets for Pure Gases, Mixed Gases and Hardgoods. The MSDS Hardgood library contains Material Safety Data Sheets for a list of Radnor brand products. Click on the underlined .pdf to open the file.

Links to MSDS sheets can also be found at the product level by either searching the catalog to locate a product, or by searching by part number. Click on the MSDS Sheet link to view the document. For some items, you will be redirected to the manufacturer’s website to display a MSDS.

Once you login to Airgas.com with your designated username and password, you can access the My MSDS feature from the Quick Links menu, or from the Account Management drop down menu, which will automatically display Material Safety Data Sheets associated with any product purchased within the past 90 days. The MSDS can be viewed by clicking on the open folder icon or you can save the file to your desktop by clicking the save icon.

Additionally, you can also search for Material Safety Data Sheets by components using the Search by Components menu under Material Safety Data Sheets in Account Management. In the Select Component or Type field, type in the name of the component you would like to search and use your mouse to click on the component name. Next, enter in the numeric concentration level, and be sure to express your entry in either a percentage or parts per million using the radio button. Click on the Add Component button to add your selection to the selected component box. If you are searching by a percentage of concentration, you may need to repeat this process by adding another component until the total percentage in the Selected Components box equals 100%. Click the Submit button and based on your criteria, if a relevant MSDS match is available, it will be displayed below. The MSDS can be opened or saved to your desktop by clicking on the appropriate icon.
